Lol it's funny to me how players get exposed on their height/weight numbers and speed times at the NFL combine. It's not like these college trainers are making these players less athletic

They definitely could but this one is a bit overblown. Manny had moved on, now Tre’Von is “officially” doing the same. No harm no foul for either party.
Why did Manny move on? Was it due mostly to him visiting us/social media posts, or was it the caliber of his play?
They have way more DTs than they need.

According to 247, Riggins was the only committed DT they had this year, but have a few DE. However, I know oftentimes DE get shifted inside a lot after a few years of S&C. Thanks for the insight illini0440. I appreciate it.

I’m not sure I care how or why Riggins is available for us, I only care that he is. He’s got some real talent. He’s a little lanky and needs to hit our S&C program hard for a year and a half plus before I’d say he’s ready for Big 10 Football but the kid has some real talent.
I’m told Lakewood should run through the semis. Probably a good 3 weeks from announcements with those 2.
St.Pete Lakewood is in the semi-finals and is facing Miami Booker T Washington. The other side of the bracket has Jacksonville Bolles against Cocoa. Really good teams and no one has a cakewalk. The championship game is 12/11.
The school that is puzzling here is Clearwater Academy International that the ILLINI have a couple of offers to their players.. I really didn't know that much about the school so, I looked it up. Clearwater Academy International is a Scientologist school located in Clearwater, Florida.[1][2] The school serves grades PreK to 12 in a co-educational system. It was formed in 1997 after the merger of Jefferson Academy, A To Be School, and the Renaissance Academy.

As far as I can tell, that was a true FR year. I have him with 3 years to play 2 in the schollie grid.

He could play in four games or less next year and be eligible to play in 2021 and 2022.

Ah, you are correct. I misread it. That would be correct, 2 years of eligibility with a RS remaining.
He may RS and that's not a bad idea.

You are missing 3-4 names. 1-2 are good names I like, the others aren't great in my mind.
