So that would be
1. Mookie Cooper - OSU
2. AJ Henning - Mich
3. Jadon Thompson - Cin for academics I believe

Or is your number 3 that really fast kid that ended up going to Purdue I think? If you are counting him instead of Jadon, that would be three slot receivers all transferring in?

There was a lot of buzz of him coming. It was rumored that we needed to show on the field to be legit first. Not that I know if it was true or not, but field results did not look good regardless. I remember his commitment video with him and his buddies around the pool. When he says Illinois, all the boys start jumping up and down celebrating, then they push him into the pool where he commits to Ohio State.

My main question is why did he enter the transfer portal now? OSU is about to play in the playoff. Makes it look to me as if he has a destination in mind already. Not saying it is ILL, just going off what it looks like IMO

OSU insiders are implying that he is homesick and wants to enroll at a University closer to home for the next semester. That would mean it's either us or Missouri.

He seems to have a close relationship to his mom so this makes sense to me.

While I’m glad to see offers going out already, it seems doubtful there is any news until the staff is in place. Which means it will be a little while yet.

Won’t say their names b/c their not all in the portal yet... But no Thompson would not be one of those options.

Do we need to keep Patterson to have a chance? I understand if you’re osu you don’t need him but we’re Illinois.

No clue on whether Patterson helps us or hurts us here. We couldn't land him the first time around with Patterson, so who knows? He does, at the moment, have four former Trinity Catholic High School teammates on the roster, so that may help us more than Patterson's presence. He's also been on campus countless times.

That recruitment was so weird. We offered him in 2016, hired his HS coach, landed a number of his teammates and then he popped to Texas in February of 2019. He then decommitted from Texas after visiting us in early March of 2019 which made it look like he was going to commit to Illinois. That obviously never happened.

He also left Trinity Catholic under strange circumstances before his Senior season so he really hasn't played since 2018.

Like others have said, it's really hard to speculate right now since we really don't have a staff right now, but it will probably come down to Missouri or Illinois.

CP is undoubtedly the best recruiter on this staff and it’s not even close. BB is no dummy. CP will have the option to stay, and if he doesn’t, BB will look to fill that void to ensure he doesn’t make the same mistakes he made at Arkansas, here...

How good a TE coach has Patterson been? Barker wasn’t exactly highly rated, but has had two pretty good years in a row. Has Patterson’s coaching helped with him?

Well yes I figured that but are we talking possible transfer ins or who our main 3 targets were from last year? If its possible transfers then I understand the lack of details. My list is my perception our top targets. No need to be secretive about that. Correct me

It would be players transferring in. All due respect I read this information on a premium board so I’m not going to post it. But I will say I would take any 2 of the 3
