You’d think an all-state player at the 7a level would have generated a little more interest. Seems like a good kid. Hope he develops into a great player.

All-state LB Luke Zardzin commits to Illini as preferred walk-on
Luke Zardzin has known Alex Palczewski for many years. So the Mount Prospect (Ill.) Class of 2021 linebacker already had a comfort level with Illinois football when the247sports.com
The QB on that team will be walking on at Wisconsin. He looks like a kid that would have walked on at Wi or Nw and turned into a top player. Glad to get kids from ILL. Welcome aboard.
Walken is going to Wisky? The QB on that team will be walking on at Wisconsin.
Is that Christopher or his elderly grandmother?
Don't disrespect pruman like that.Is that Christopher or his elderly grandmother?
Actually, his name is Alex Moeller, and he'll be a preferred walk on. Believe it or not, his nickname is Gary.
Gary Moeller...not a great name for Illinois fans...but it would be hard for him to do more damage for Wisconsin against us than Mertz did last year.Actually, his name is Alex Moeller, and he'll be a preferred walk on. Believe it or not, his nickname is Gary.
Going after the instate kids! Don’t know much about him, but I they must have liked his workout.
There are always little known guys who emerge. This year there's a bumper crop. Lock and load.Going after the instate kids! Don’t know much about him, but I they must have liked his workout.
Werner just put in a high confidence CB for Hood.
24 hour offer/commitment cycles would be a very refreshing from the last few seasons.Werner just put in a high confidence CB for Hood.
Well, sure, but they aren't going to be the norm.24 hour offer/commitment cycles would be a very refreshing from the last few seasons.
Of course! But it is nice to see, or potentially see in this case. It’s nice having multiple commits before June and THAT should be the norm.Well, sure, but they aren't going to be the norm.
They are tight. To what degree? Not sure. It also helps that Malachi Hood (Anderson's teammate) is in that group.I really like that BB is getting early official visits from Badie (LB - Oswego) and Pugh (WR - Fenwick) on the same weekend as commit Jordan Anderson (RB - JCA)....I thought I read that the 3 of them are somewhat tight. It would be outstanding to add those 2 pieces to the puzzle early on.
