so....there's zero chance :ROFLMAO:
with this staff you never know. I didn't think Palcho and Marchese would be playing this year; it's their 5th full season each (not including 2020) so you never know. There will probably be a lot of these situations coming up the next few years until all the players active in 2020 graduate. I don't quite understand how the different RS/injury situations affect the free Covid year, but if any player wants to come back and the staff wants them, our chances at a waiver are way better with BB than with Lovie.

totally agree. was a bad joke about the NCAA's capacity to do something helpful for us (see Luke Ford)

I'm not sure if it's true or not, but he did say "It is a fact that TDV is done, as has been expressed by him and Bielema "

I don't have that quote or article, but that's more than hubris. the fact that you truncated that part of his statement is not honest.
Fair enough observation on your part, but I did address that in a previous comment (see below). I just don’t think any statements made prior to the conclusion of this season will have an impact on the decisions made for next year. They’re non-binding in even the most informal ways. Assuming they did make that statement either could wake up one day and change their mind for any reason. Just look at Kofi as a recent example.

I don’t doubt that Devito and Bielema were speaking the truth, but things change a season later. If there is significant NIL money on the table for DeVito following a successful season, and he remains the best QB on the roster next year I’m pretty sure they may change their minds. …

I didn't get the impression it was about the coach or player changing their mind. Perhaps they asked compliance and got that answer. Someone would have to look at the comment or a reporter ask again.

I'm telling you man, DeVito gets an extra year for 2020, and he's already playing it. There is no question that he's an open-and-shut case for a medical hardship waiver, but it would be an illogical application of the rules to grant him two additional years in compensation for the same season.

I know, I know, the NCAA inconsistently and illogically applies its own rules all the time. But DeVito doesn't have a case here and I wouldn't expect him to even bother to pursue it.
Your argument is pure conjecture supported by numerous fallacies; appeal to tradition, argument of repitition, common knowledge.

You have made a confident statement that this definitively is DeVitos last year. I obviously don’t know if it in fact will be or not, but have countered with reasons why him playing next year is a possibility including other comparable examples.

You cannot appeal to yourself as an authority because you are not an authority. If you were an authority you’d be capable of substantiating your opinion.
