We don’t need him we have Bailey for the future at safety.
Really good teams minimally have 3 VG safeties (and optimally more). Besides Bailey, I like Green. Stack talent whenever you can.

The Unofficials are 2 tickets to the game and the recruit can pay for more and a lunch. Officials everything is paid for including travel and lodgingplease remind me , with these types of quickie visits for a game , we can’t pay for the transportation nor any lodging overnite , correct ?
are we allowed to feed them a decent meal at the game ?
Yes, he's played in all five games. That was a big, albeit understandable, loss. If Brown chose us, Bailey probably doesn't get offered. I really like Brown, but I like Bailey more. Sydney's successor, 3 year starter, future pro. Has Bailey burned his redshirt yet? Am assuming it's a foregone conclusion.
That’s a bit of a harsh comment about a player from the greatest high school in America.Guessing the 2 DL.
FWLIW, Terek is carrying a lot of flab. I'd rather have a TE recruit morph into a tackle, because they can really move.

Wtf? Did they destroy his Camaro??
Who didn’t transform their body in college? He has plenty of resources to build on his 6-6 frame. All I had access to was 12 oz curls.True, lol, but it's true. Kid is huge and very strong, but he's not exactly the picture of an athlete. He can crush guys in HS, but it's a whole new deal in D1. He's gonna have to work his rear off and transform his body.

I know nothing about the player in question, but I do wonder how long it will be after hits on players outside the top 1000 like Bryant. McCray, Gabe and Bailey that we start to hear the mantra in BB and staff I trust like we do with BU and bball.Yes, that's uniform for pretty much everyone. Should have stated that Terek has a lot more physical transformation in store than a lot of OL. I'm not convinced he'll be as good as some folks think. He's gonna have trouble with quick and fast defenders, IMO.
That's a good update. Sounds like real recognize real in this case.UPDATE: Notre Dame came to practice on Thursday (I never found out who the coach who traveled here was) and there is a strong lean they're going to eventually offer. That said, I'm fairly confident that Cal is pretty much all-in for you guys. He loves the coaches at Illinois and they were on him so early, that's a HUGE thing for him.
How is Cal doing so far this fall? That's a good update. Sounds like real recognize real in this case.
And also that ND sucks.
Not just a 4 star, but a high 4 star would be great. And hoping eventually for a 5 star. I know we have gotten transfers in who were once one of those, but I want MANY from the beginning (through the end). This season so far surely has to help with recruiting. Hoping to see some 4*'s pop this year.
Well depending on your definition of high 4 star, you might have to wait until next year. I think 24/7 has the Illini offers out to about 8 players in the top 350 who are still uncommitted. Jyaire Hill is probably the most likely of those, but don’t really know how likely he is. Of course we could flip someone, but probably more likely is we’ll have those type of players more willing to listen for 2024 class and beyond. Not just a 4 star, but a high 4 star would be great. I saw Berry-Johnson play against Lincoln Way East. He looked pretty damn good to this untrained eye.
