2 brand new crystal balls for Jyaire Hill to Michigan. (Wiltfong and Sam Webb)

Looks like this dude wants to be the next Cliff Alexander…
None of them are exactly confident though are they. (3/4 going with a 6 confidence level). Just seems like atm no one has any clue and so it’s just “It’s gotta be Michigan right?”

They're both from the same publication as the previous guy too.

Nothing should really be a surprise with NIL in the mix. Obviously the Yankees didn't bid.
$1M was supposedly the offer. Is anyone still pretending this isn’t pay for play? I mean I think Illinois and some others are probably going by the book and delivering what is “promised”. I’m quite sure many more schools are not.

I'm a bit surprised that more of our guys haven't announced they're transferring, primarily those that have dim hopes for getting significant tick. I'm assuming the bowl game has a lot to do with it.

On a side note, best of luck to Ford.

Luke Ford is a guy I can always root for. Came from UGA so he could play in front of his grandfather, but then was forced to sit a year during which his grandfather passed. Hope he does well in the NFL.
One of many, many NCAA misdeeds. Could the possibility of this exact set of circumstances not be foreseen by whoever made the decision to deny Luke from playing, after countless instances where players have been allowed to avoid a sit out year under similar circumstances? Water under the bridge, I know, but the NCAA truly deserves the general contempt they invoke.

Wiltfong's prediction was before Hill's twitter announcement. I wrote a reply earlier about these quiet recruitment cycles are almost always drama-free. That said, it's tough to shake the understanding of why Michigan would left out of the top-five with no changes to their coaching staff.

Tulane was really fun to watch this year. Bring em back to the SEC(they still have more conf championships than some current members).

From WCIA:

"Illinois head coach Bret Bielema says he feels good about where his program is at, taking an honest and open approach with his players about their decision to stay or go, adding he doesn’t expect a lot of players to depart this offseason for another school."

“I think we do a good enough opportunity or do enough good things in our building that kids don’t want to leave,” Bielema said on Sunday during the team’s ReliaQuest Bowl bid press conference. “We had a couple kids leave last year in our conference and their numbers weren’t near as productive as when they were here so I think there’s good examples of the grass isn’t always going to be greener.”
