Disappointing to not land Hill, but not surprised based off rumblings.

As for his announcement, kids will be kids. I refuse to get mad at a kid for getting his chance in front of a camera and having fun with it even if it’s in a way I don’t agree with.

I really don’t want to be the fan base that gets upset over these types of things.

I want to be the fan base that makes fun of other fan bases that get upset over these things.

True, not upset we didn't land him, just feel bad for the kid and his parents they felt this was a cool way to handle it.

...but you would hope that at least just one person in his entourage would have enough guts and clarity of thought to mention that just maybe the idea was not as funny and clever as he thinks. But it won't be the last time something like this happens. Good luck to the kid and hope he makes better decisions in the future.

I get that kids will be kids, but to me this move is super disrespectful to all the coaches that invested countless hours in courting him and being oblivious to the impact of that decision on those coaches. A low character move that is typically symptomatic of future low character moves.

I have no issue with his announcement. All the insiders and CBs predicted his destination. Which means our coaches knew. There probably wasn’t too much misdirection that offer recruits do on a routine basis

He picked another school I think BB planned accordingly

Absolutely agree. We all knew the destination due to our insiders excellent reporting (as did all other indications); so maybe he tried something "clever" to gin up some publicity to his announcement. If anything, I think it unsettled Michigan fans for 48 hours, which is fine by me. What a strange way to handle the last 48 hours to his recruitment, but to each their own.

My parents would put the smack down if I tried something like that at 18. However, I'll cut him some slack. Hope he does well, just not against us.

Edit: I am 50 now, so different times...
