Well, why would he choose Mizzou over Illinois? He is from Normal and in his own words that he was really interested in the Illinois offer. one site had the top 2 Illinois and Louisville, and then all the sudden just of the Blue he picks Mizzou? Why would he do it? you can't claim they are better than us at this point. I think it came down to money.

I'm guessing Illinois have preference on Pearl coming back, while still recruiting guys like Fugar + Johnson + others to become a RT if he didn't. Once Pearl committed to come back, they didn't have a need (or playing time) for a transfer tackle.
