Slow Friday at work

PJ Hill 5'10 200
John Clay 6'1 225
Montee Ball 5'10 180
James White 5'10 190
Melvin Gordon 6'1 195

I'm not sure how much we can take from this list. Almost all of our current RBs fall inside the same 5'10 - 6'1 range with same weight. (Jordan Anderson being the outlier at 6'4 240)
The weights you have listed are before they came on campus. PJ Hill was pushing 235-240 lbs at times. White was probably one of the few off that list that played around that weight during his time at UW.

BB has definitely brought in bigger backs unless he tends to use them at other positions down the line. Anderson, Feagin and McCray. Laughery is average size RB just looks small compared to some of those monsters :ROFLMAO:

It's not about whether Battie is a good player or not (he is!), it's about whether it fits with the coaching staff's plans. Bielema just stated that the offense needs more of an identity - adding a very small sized RB doesn't achieve that, in fact it does the opposite.

Big bruisers like Derek Henry 6'3" 247 lbs

Speed guys like Barry Sanders 5'8" 200 lbs

Chargers - Austin Eckeler 5'9" 200 lbs

Kaden Feagin is going to be a good one. Big and strong back with good speed for his size. His offer list is impressive.
I really believe that he will make some really good contributions this year.

I so hope this Olano lad is all that .
if we can get to the point where we can count on kicks from 55 yards out , it will mean about 3-6 more points a game , in many instances .
Our kicker this year was fantastic!

Do we have any punters coming in? That was a glaring problem this year. I believe he even cost us a game. I would have never put him In again.

Agree, but he was awesome in the Bowl game. Did he get better or was the bowl game a fluke?

he was definitely better in the second half than the first half of the season, but we also seldom asked him to kick from more than 45 yards out
but in total, our field goal kicking was okay.
Since the first half of the Virginia game on September 10th, Caleb was 10 of 11. His only miss was from 52 in the bowl game. You might have been spoiled by Chase and James.

Im not disagreeing that he was pretty good the second half of the season
we also simply didnt ask him to kick many times when we were +45 yards out , when other teams might have. Dont ignore that in your analysis

he wasnt the weak link in our team in scoring points, but he was far from "all conference" quality
