Rashad Rochelle going to Rutgers was always a curious outcome to me. I thought he always wanted to go to Illinois.
I was in communication with his father. He initially wanted to come to Illinois but they slow played him. Rightfully so. And he got a little turned off.

The last time I spoke with Rashad's dad was before the start of Rashad's senior year in high school, so its been a while. They used to come to my gym and workout. Rashad and another kid were getting some instruction on throwing technique (and other football skills). I'd speak with his dad while that was going on, he is a good guy. He played ball out on the west coast somewhere.

so that is in addition to the automatic free transfer every player gets in their first 4 years ?

simply a terrible time for a player to move tho.

I kinda have a hard time thinking any player of real value is going to make use of that in mid season
i know its silly to refer to these kids as student athletes, but how does leaving a program in the middle of a fall semester work?
you would think the NCAA would be smart enough to let a kid finish his fall work then move on. oops, i used NCAA and smart
in the same sentence.

Working on some conference-wide recruiting data to share on here and I noticed that Easton Baker is listed as having some interest in Arkansas. They offered about a month ago.
