I remember the staff really wanted him. Probably an option. He has only played ~20 snaps over the past two seasons but he did fine? Probably not much to glean from such little data.

So honest question, and not even specifically about Taz, but how are DPI calls factored into completion percentage when targeted? Like if I'm a DB and I'm targeted 10 times a game, the WR catches two passes, but I get flagged for DPI for the remaining 8 (crazy hypothetical) and the penalty is accepted, do I technically still allow a completion percentage of 20%? Or do accepted DPIs count as completions since the team is still getting yardage?

I don't actually know for sure, but my guess is that would be a 100% completion rate since the other 8 plays wouldn't be counted. On DPI the QB doesn't get an incompletion, right?

Plenty of 88+ DB/safety in portal. Illinois needs upgrade.

woah. Gonna need to find even more transfer portal depth pieces. All three starters + McConnell/Barnes who were both important backups.
Maybe 1 or 2 of the younger guys will be able to play some, but BB will be busy trying to find some bodies.

This is true but they transfers out know more about what's going on than we do. Might know they won't see the field here.

If you are unlikely to make NFL or NBA, might as well go someplace and make some money in college. JMO but I would go someplace where I could maximize playing time and chance to win games even if it meant leaving power 5. Not sure those 2 goals are compatible.

I know he is a revered player but I thought he was always kinda hollow. He does have a rosey disposition though.
