the flip side is that if Petty had been deemed worthy of 4 stars, he probably wouldn't have taken our approaches too seriously.

He's a 4 star minus Illinois.
Could it be a possibility that Petty may get turned into a W.R. as did Williams, considering the Illini have some young depth at the Q.B.?
Petty is a qb
Isiah was small for a QB, his measurables pointed to being a slot WR. Petty has better size and overall QB skills coming out of high schooll
Coran Taylor who was a big QB (6-2, 205) I always thought he would make for a big back option. Illinois never tried him there, but the few times he played QB and ran he seemed like a legitmate running back.
