Another high profile non-conference loss at home. Arizona, Marquette and Tennesse. We all know how those seasons ended. Get the ball out of KJ hands at the end of the game. He makes way too many bad decisions and turnovers at the end of the game. I predicted Illinois goes no better than 20-11 during the season.
Is McVay bigger than Whitenack? Did McVay play a lot of football at Al? Great pickup.

Not gonna lie, didn't realize I was watching a "I'm coming back video" about Luke at the basketball game today until the very end of the video. What an epic way to announce he's coming back. So flippin cool, and huge news!
I ran x-country in HS and there was a Fr-So meet every year at Scovill. Without question, that was the most brutal course I've ever run. I literally saw teenage boys crying after running that course.

It would be interesting to see a 2 deep depth chart for each season based on the "source."
The source could be recruits, walk-ons (if they are still a thing), and the portal.
Yes, we have lost players to the portal. But overall, it seems like the portal has been good to the Illini.
