Is Knapik purely the swing tackle? I'd rather he'd be the swing but one option could be
(LT) Davis
(LG) Priestly
(C) Kreutz
(RG) Gesky or Henderson
(RT) Knapik

Regardless, Knapik is such a nice add for depth reasons.
I think he will start for sure. His pass pro technique is very refined and I think we can open up the playbook with zone concepts that we couldn't with Priestly at RT. The guard depth gives us the versatility to move Priestly back outside if needed

That would certainly be best case scenario- if Knapik is an upgrade to Priestly in pass pro, then I think Priestly would be an upgrade to Gesky at LG and it would lower his penalties, then you upgrade two spots with one addition

The NFL views Priestly as a G in everything I’ve seen so I think it’s an easy sell to him to move inside and up his draft stock

The OL played well down the stretch and held up against a top 5 DL in South Carolina so I think this could turn into a position of strength next year

we are going to need 6-7 OL capable of starting. We were blessed this year with no real injuries there.

It’ll be interesting if the ncaa switches to 5 years of eligibility. Knapik and Priestly would be able to come back in 2026 if they do.

Thanks for posting that. Good memories. And I had forgotten about that naked bootleg...which is embarrassing because I don't think I've seen many run that successfully.
Don’t remember his name but the Baylor head coach was fairly pissed about it after the game 🤣:chief:

So if this transpires... then it's Davis-Priestly-Kruetz-Gesky/Henderson-Knapick?

Trading card companies spooning out money to HS kids now... Guess that industry's evolving. Wasn't it not too long ago that card collecting was a thing of the past?
High school kids landing 6 figure deals just as I predicted when all this started. I mean what could go wrong when you’re 16 and flush with cash?? Kids will be victims here, but does anyone cares? Sad. This not a statement about Trae in any way. I hope he and his family are able to handle what’s coming. I sure as hell couldn’t.

A good agent who has your best interests(most money at the very least) at heart should protect you from a professionalism standpoint. It's the ones who abuse that trust and the friends, "family" and relatives who whisper in their ear that I think cause the most damage.
