Still won’t win 8a

Let me guess, Mt Carmel making the jump to 8a?

They aren’t up for it, Loyola crushed them last year at Carmel, and Loyola barely squeezed by East. With Carmel losing Elliot, I don’t see how they make a jump to winning 8a.

And Loyola without Fitzgerald won’t have East’s number again.

Mt Carmel has 14 starters returning plus several others that played a lot. They also got a 4 star OT to transfer in. I’m sure that won’t be their last move in the transfer portal.

Loyola just reloads. Until someone beats them they are the team to beat.

You are kidding yourself if you think only private schools recruit.

where did I say or imply that?

of course some public schools recruit. the difference is that for most private schools (those where sports are important, anyway), recruiting is standard (i.e. a way of life). whereas for public schools it isn't, by and large. like comparing a run-of-the-mill wave to a tsunami

High school kids landing 6 figure deals just as I predicted when all this started. I mean what could go wrong when you’re 16 and flush with cash?? Kids will be victims here, but does anyone cares? Sad. This not a statement about Trae in any way. I hope he and his family are able to handle what’s coming. I sure as hell couldn’t.
I was dedicated to making bad decisions at that time, while broke. If I had suddenly gotten flush with cash, I would have taken those bad decisions to much greater velocity. Systematically. I doubt it would have ended well, so maybe I'm glad to be slow and uncoordinated. ;)
