Also.......they've had an underwhelming cornerback development based on NFL production. They have three active NFL cornerbacks and two of them are first round busts (Eli Apple + Jeff Okudah), the third is just a rotational guy. I'm not dismissing them having three guys, but the NFL production does not match up with the talent they're afforded.

HS coaches have known this was coming for a while now. ABI myth has finally been completely shattered. Reality is that Iowa and Wisconsin were only better than us because they had the right program builders and better stability while we had two doofuses in charge, one that would never spend the money it took to compete and the other being small-minded and just plain awful. As soon as we got our act together, now everyone can see there's nothing special about the other B1G programs compared to us

The sleeping dragon that has been Illinois football has finally awaken.. Give me one more 9+ win season and let's really see the fire coming out that thang!!!
