the player , the school nor the payor are required to disclose NIL amounts, correct ?

we really don't know what is real or made up, do we ?

Apparently it's just some algorithm that estimates "NIL value" based on factors like how many media mentions they have and how many social media followers they have.

In reality, it means nothing, as the actual NIL earnings are not public and there is no way to verify if there is any actual correlation between NIL value and actual NIL earnings. Basically an algorithm that can never actually be tested for accuracy.

Dre is a good guy. He did well here as a player and the 9 months he was in personnel evaluation/recruiting.

but c'mon , he wasnt the second coming of Zuppke or Rockne.

and who can blame him for joining up with a guy he once worked for already, this time at freakin' USC. especially if he's still single. he has my best wishes

I don’t think Dre deserves to be talked bad about. This early in his career he should absolutely be taking stepping stone jobs to do that just as most young coaches do. If recruiting Sutter shows his value in his job, then fair game and we need to beat USC out the same way you’d need to beat out PSU. Big boy recruiting and we’d have no problem with any hire we make bringing highly ranked kids along with him if that’s the case here.

Agree. Plus it’s not like it was a random jump to another school. I believe his former boss went from ND to USC for 1 mil/ year as recruiting head. Has ties. Plus wouldn’t be surprised if UsC added a pay bump here. Imagine that change as ND fan…after a natty appearance.

This seems like the most obvious "new guy at the office" move.
Offer the top TE target that you have an in with from your previous job to show your new boss that you have value.

You know there ain't a shot at this point but you wanna fake it til ya make it to show everyone you belong.

I’m not talking bad about him or being derogatory towards him as a person. Just disappointed and frustrated because we have momentum and than all of a sudden this happens. Sorry maybe I’m being too strong or it’s all those years of the program being in the dumps that I’m reacting that way. Will step back a bit and relax.

Normally, wouldn't be an issue... but this program has been downtrodden, and it has taken a lot of hard work and luck to get to this pivotal, shining moment... and Dre is leveraging the Bielema / Whitman show in for some bucks? Nah, sorry, I'm not going to cry about it, but i'd rather just speak about him not at all. no big deal, but same as lovie man, we won't be inviting you back for homecoming
