I would go with Far Downstate Illinois

I already called Phoenix, AZ Chicago's Southwestern most suburb already.

@Indy Illini Fan

Wasn't there a situation previously with ESL where Sunkett wanted Illinois to offer some kids who weren't fit for the Big Ten? Or something along those lines?

Now that TH is onboard though, is that all just water under the bridge?

Our relationship with ESL might be the best it’s ever been …

Terry helps no doubt … But Bret fixed it and built it …

When did Hawthorne return? When I googled him it still shows him @ SIU. Also doesn’t show him on Illinois staff.

Another goofy little thing I love about recruiting: if a player has a star number in their twitter bio you know the real number is exactly one less without having to go to Rivals or 247

star numbers mean NOTHING to the staff .
they are only there for fans .

I don’t think it’s that, I think that they usually just pick whatever service gave them the highest star rating and put that in their bio, and I don’t blame them for that

One odd piece for Tony Williams' profile page is when you scroll towards the bottom, it says he's the 236th ranked prospect by Rivals. Then you go to the 2026 Rivals 250, he's not the 236th ranked prospect or anywhere on the list.
