Cameron Wagner is going to be the bellwether for 2027. Illinois has really prioritized him; a lot of visits to campus and from coaches to his home. He's also picked up a lot of big offers (Ohio State, Ole Miss, TAMU, Notre Dame, Penn State, Iowa, Nebraska, etc.).

I’ll give it to Bret, he’s really trying to ensure we have the appropriate depth so we don’t get so quite worn down against the elite teams. He knows this could be a special year. Not sure if this guy will get much playing time this year, but even a couple of snaps early in the game would help us out in the 4th quarter. This kid has great size for sure. A year in a D1 weight room should really help him.
