I don't care at this point. Our 26 class is outstanding. Vala is phenomenal and at a high school with 4000 students, 😆. All 3 are great "Prospects". Coach and staff will get a good transfer. I want a beast of a running back finally, please 🙏. Our staff has literally had class filled out and working 27 since April. We haven't been this solid in 2 Decades recruiting.

Doesn't diminish what Bert is doing right now, he is setting UI up for flipping those expectations in a few years. For now though? Happy being the underdog and stealing from the big boys when they can be stolen from. One day they'll get their comeuppance.

Each year, EVERY team loses players who they feel is a lock to come to their program. This used to put me into despair for both football and, especially, Basketball....

Now, I've become way more philosophical and concentrate on players who DO make the commitment to The Chief, rather than despair over those whom we have "lost." We're on a GREAT commitment run and our talent level has been rising spectacularly. Let's rejoice in that!

We do need a stud running back though. This was the earmark of Wisconsin under Bielema...stud RBs following road-graders and pulverizing opponents in the fourth quarter. Love to see that here....

as a dutchman , I can say Bret is everyone’s Dutch uncle . says it like it is .

I’ve said this many times on here - at a family reunion , Bret looks 100% like he’s a blood relative in the real Mr. Tibbs family .

It was a main reason I always liked him . His sophomoric behavior back in the day was something I was guilty of as well .
