This is probably the third time I've mentioned it, but I'll keep repeating it: What is going on with the rankings this year? Camaul King has offers from Illinois, North Carolina, BYU, Maryland, Indiana, West Virginia, Duke, and Wake Forest and he's unranked. 18 total offers. Rivals has him as the 37th-best safety. For 247, that would put him around ~300-400th ranked prospect. If you look through the 35th-40th ranked safeties on 247 composite, his offers are in the neighborhood of most of these guys (One Example).
I am not trying kickstart an old argument on here about Illinois recruits being underrated because King isn't underrated. He's not rated. There are a handful of other guys in that area of the ranking that are not committed, but are also rated. It's just such a headscratcher for me.

kids slip through the cracks (crevasses?) and that the ranking services are far from perfect
competent coaching staffs are a far better gauge of a prospect's worth
