Could the '27 class be the breaking through moment in Illini recruiting? Would be impressive to start bringing in 4 star talent regularly with 1/2 5 stars.
The amount of high level talent coming for visits is outstanding. Keep on winning and the talent will come hand over fist. It’ll be like an oversubscribed IPO.

I think it would be impressive to start by bringing in 1/2 4 stars, which eyeballing the 2026 rankings would suggest leads to a top 20 class.
No one gets 1/2 5 stars (maybe once in a blue moon someone does), so that isn't even aspirational.

6'8 with a 4.7/40? I also love basketball players as TEs. Soft hands, good footwork, ability to shield defenders off with the body, typically great at high pointing the ball.
I'm a little surprised at the D1 offers. (It's Toledo and the like). Maybe getting docked for not spending time at all the major camps since he 2 sports?
