He will end up at Iowa. Connection with his dad is too strong. Hopefully he doesn’t bite on play action as much as his old man did in college and the pros. Also bigger fish out there to be had.

An absolute thriller in Mundelein. Montini came through with a 55-54 win. Second win helped with a stuffed 2 pt conversion this season. Becoming a theme the past 2 seasons. @therealmiket86 why arent we giving this kid more of a look with the other top qb's going elsewhere? This is a big time throw on the run. He threw for 568 yards and played toe-toe with Trae Taylor.
We already have our 27 qb. Both qbs had huge nights yesterday. I heard Trae had 5 passing tds and 3 rushing td

He did. Monster game as well. I know we have a 27, but do we stop at 1. We missed out on Trae, but is it not worth it to look at him more. Or is the strategy 1 freshman qb and a transfer as needed.

Feels odd with a top 150 QB in our backyard. Wonder the reasoning behind going for Trae then the pivot to Cowboy.

Absolutely. I just liked the opportunity that could’ve presented itself in the western burbs. Things happen and we will enjoy Lopati hopefully for 4 years.
Nasir Rankin should be smiling with how great we've developed slot receivers. Next in line.
IMO stepp has been the most impressive of the position coaches. Want him around ALAP.
And to think South Carolina fans were happy to see him go. We will take any more of their “bad” coaches!

on paper, sure. thing is, the recruiting services' lists are sometimes (often?) quite divergent from the staff's list. I don't know squat, but I'd reckon we spent a good deal of time scouting both Abrams and Taylor. that we didn't pivot to Abrams after Taylor went full Husker speaks volumes

Maybe the way true announcement went rubbed bret the wrong way very cliff Alexander like announcement I remember alot of people on here were upset about it.but its definitely clear trae is a player sad he committed to guy that has underwhelmed developing a top qb prospect as of now I under he's still sophomore but with all the mini maholmes talk hasn't had near the production in college as of yet
