so the CFP championship game is 1/19.

how does this work for the two teams in that game ?

are those simply the dates for entering the portal?
Yeah. I don't understand why they don't just do the obvious thing.

I'd make it feb. 1-14, then start the season on the first saturday of september, start nfl on first sunday of september, go back to 16 games in the nfl, and have the cfb champ/SB on sat-sun of the last weekend in jan.

Since UNC is a wreck and Bill is fanning the flames with a cutoff hoodie.

3rd time is the charm?

eventually, even a kid with a world of potential becomes a no go. does he even start for Carolina? if staff wants him, ok (I dunno squat). but if they don't, it wouldn't surprise me at all

He doesn't. Which...is that a bad thing? I kid, I kid.

It could be a discount situation (off season price tag was like 1 mill).
-Sophomore tackles don't start quite often in the P4. So is there a ton to glean off that alone? Idk
-Kid has chased clout at Bama and money at UNC. Could a close to home reckoning/get right. Humble himself a bit and be around some other 314 dudes who have got their 💩 together at Illinois.

I don't see there being much to lose if the staff comes into the recruitment with very honest expectations expressed to Miles.

Maybe unless he wants to play for very little. He’s a former top 200 recruit who can’t get on the field for a horrible team. He enrolled early at bama so he was in there system for a while and had great coaching. Reports at unc was that he still needed a ton of work to get on the field…

You lose a roster spot and potentially scare off a better player.

He was awful is short spurts at Alabama. He can't play for an awful North Carolina team. He stinks. He'll go to a program like WKU next year and still not start.
