We are literally 2 or 3 real big time playmakers from being right where Indinia is.

The O line stood up today. The DB's would be way better with X in the mix. One more pass rusher to keep the triple teams off of Jacas.

If I'm a recruit...I see playing time.

Where does the staff put Eberhart and Rankin to start? The discussion about the staff saying they're set at WR but really wanting Presley (good player) has me wondering if Eberhart is starting at WR. With Williams, Eberhart already, taking three safeties in one class does not feel optimal.

The answer might be the staff likes Presley that much that they'll just "figure it out" later.

I think they are all Defensive backs/secondary. Not mentioned, and maybe by choice. Hankins, our top 100 player who will definitely get a shot at starting.

Think Rankin would be the guy with the highest offensive possibility. Great slot receiver type. Just get him the ball and let him make a play.

This was my thought until yesterday. Bailey picked a great day to have a great day. Win or lose, his run fits and TE coverage on Klare were noteworthy.

We all saw the GMs in attendance, not to mention what I'm assuming was a scout from half the league.

Bailey had a very good game yesterday but what will hurt him is his 40. With Luke, X, Gabe and JC gone we will have a lot of money coming off the books

Think we spend a ton on a QB in the portal personally. Though I understand your sentiment.

If Bailey can stay healthy the rest of the season, I think he goes. Ends up playing Linebacker at the next level which will somewhat negate his 40 time.

My assumption right now is that our starting QB is not on the roster now for next year. They won't hand it over to Boyd with no experience and Hampton in a back up/game manager.

pretty much. I'll be shocked if we don't bring in a QB xfer. but he's gonna have to win the job (which he probably will)

I like the wr room but we a game changer there. If we think that can be Eberhart then I’m all for him starting at wr.

We will need to find an edge rusher which won’t be cheap. We generate almost no pass rush. I can’t imagine what it’ll be like when Gabe is gone.

Getting a good QB and edge rusher in the portal might cost $7-8 million. I don't see that happening. You likely have to take a leap on one of them that there is an internal replacement.

A portal QB vs no QB may hinge on a new OC. If Lunney stays, it does give an edge to Hampton.
