just like Parks was (still is?), Hill is under-ranked, IMO. by a pretty significant amount. hope we lock him down soon
How good or costly of a QB?
To win in college football you need a dude at qb. Look at what happened at Michigan last year. Hampton would be a great back up but I don’t want a game manager as the starter.
You also need an OL, DL and DB's. Illinois needs all of that next year. Juco can only plug so many slots and they are a crap shoot.
So how good of a dude? There will only be so many truly top QBs available. Retzlaff good?

This all requires a lot of $, I believe we are in it to win and will get the players we need. We’re not going to take a step back after all the work and $ that has been put into the program. We’re not at OSU or Texas levels, but we will continue to build on what we have and not take a step back.
