I dont believe it would be a problem for Illinois to be a consistantly 7 or 8 win team for many years, but if we have higher goals, fact is we are also going to have to buy better , faster players to compete on the national stage.

the issue for Hankins would be if we change up the defensive staff and he doesn’t have a relationship with his new coaches

Is this a thing? I’ve never heard of Illinois doing this. Seems like a dumb thing to do when kids get all of these visits and if I was a kid, I would want to use them.

Also seems like we wouldn’t host flip opportunities that are committed to other schools if that was the case and I haven’t seen us not doing that.
