JC thinks Kiffin offense will get him to the league … Relationship with TE coach …

Mom certainly nervous about the whole thing … As I think any parent would be … I mean he’s planning to enroll early, plans change last minute, completely unfamiliar place …

A bit surprised JC decided to get it out of the way this early …

Here’s some of what I got told … I obviously cut out a lot of the more personal parts of the message …

“This has been extremely difficult, stressful and emotional. Ultimately, JC has decided that he gave his commitment to them and he wants to see it through and stick with it and do the right thing.”

Ah yes, showing loyalty to someone who bolted on a playoff team so fast he left his dog behind and made his staff hop on the plane like it was the last chopper out of Saigon. I'm sure it will be reciprocated.

Did he talk to Luke? Lol I know Luke lost out to a future 1st round pick but reports out of Ole Miss lately was that Lane stopped communicating.

Again, this was something I saw in the #lanefiles so could be dirty laundry sprinkled over with hate.

I actually know the guy who flew one of the last choppers out of Saigon. Happens to be an Illinois native and a great man. 😊

Word exercise: One word to describe Lane Kiffin...

Was the first word that came to mind "loyal"? 🤣🤣

Not that you have to be a boy scout to win football games. I've been a vocal supporter that winning cures everything...

Just found that to be a funny premise that you brought up.

This comment is exactly what I'm talking about when we talk about firing our own coaches. Players/Families aren't giving commitments to the school. They are committing to the coaches. Whenever a firing happens, the flood gates open of transfers and decommittments open.

Kiffin is a POS, but at least he announced this before signing day. It gives these kids an opportunity to sit back with their families and reevaluate everything. Most programs make these changes the day the season ends(or before) with the goal being to have the replacement in place prior to signing day. That's why Penn State is screwed right now. They fired Franklin WEEKS ago. They should have already had a deal in place with a coach.

I can totally understand the parent's apprehension. I'd be nervous as heck, but before I committed to the new school, you had better believe that we'd be down there, on campus, seeing everything.... basically starting recruiting the process over.

If the coach got fired or left AFTER signing day and I'm a parent, I'd be PI$$ED. Like she said, they're keeping their commitment to the coach. I'd hope that we never operate like that and put families in that situation.
