I just want to put this out there, no insider but heard some things,
If Javari Barnett reflips back to the Illini, from that little school down in Alabama, I believe that we should understand that this big ship has turned all the way around, and full steam ahead.
Consider for a moment, its Alabama.

I guess that turn around is pretty apparent to us all.

This does apply somewhat. IMO you’d like your tackles to be fairly certain. The interior may be interchangeable, but the OT position is highly critical.

I’d be shocked if Taylor doesn’t start, preferably on the right side.

Would you need is for tackle bodies to be playing OT. Not a guard who’s stretched out there due to necessity, like Zy Crisler.

Taylor is a pure tackle, and so is Knapnik. You’d preferably like to add another for depth.

Is Bielema going to use all 105 available scholarships? That is wild that the NCAA raised that allowance. I can’t fathom trying to keep 100+ guys happy with only 22 starting spots available.

Are players 1 thru 100 all getting a piece of rev share?

Let's play the numbers game.


There are already 6 new offensive linemen coming in. If you bring in 3-4 more transfers in beyond that 6, you probably need 3 minimum from current o-line players to transfer out. 4-5 going out is more realistic.
