gonna have to back up the truck
Grandpa is Ken Norman.

Illinois basketball 2x All Conference

If we are gonna back up the Brinks truck... Shouldn't we grab a talented legacy recruit?

Excellent point. And having sent 3 sons to Clemson starting in 2011 while securing family season tickets from 2011 thru 2023, (and having attended two Clemson Natty's myself --- one WIN; one LOSS), I thought maybe I could echo your thought with this further proof. Hoping the ILLINI can duplicate this type of sustained suckiness!
  • 2011: 10-3 (Orange Bowl Loss)
  • 2012: 11-2 (Chick-fil-A Win)
  • 2013: 11-2 (Orange Bowl Win)
  • 2014: 10-3 (Russell Athletic Bowl Win)
  • 2015: 14-1 (National Championship Appearance, lost to Alabama)
  • 2016: 14-1 (National Champions)
  • 2017: 12-2 (CFP Semifinalists)
  • 2018: 15-0 (National Champions)
  • 2019: 14-1 (Lost National Championship Game)
  • 2020: 10-2 (CFP Semifinalists, Sugar Bowl)
  • 2021: 10-3 (Cheez-It Bowl Win, 6th straight CFP appearance)
  • 2022: 11-3 (ACC Champions, Orange Bowl loss)
  • 2023: 9-4 (Tigers won Gator Bowl)
  • 2024: 10-4 (Lost CFP first round)
  • 2025: (Playing Penn State in the Pinstripe Bowl)

Clemson's rise under Swinney saw them become a perennial powerhouse, securing multiple national titles and CFP appearances, making them one of college football's elite programs of the 2010s and early 2020s.
Pretty sure you logged onto the wrong orange colored site. You new here?

So if DeBoer goes to UM does Sutter follow, stay at bama, or do we get another chance to continue the chase? Can one of the insiders tel me that the ship has sailed so I can stop pining?

Yes — I interpreted your comment perfectly.

My Apologies. I was was also being tongue-in-cheek. I should know by now —- sarcasm doesn’t translate well in writing!

And I don’t expect to get any warm weather Clemson guys transferring to Champaign.
Sarcasm doesn't translate??? I'm shocked, shocked i say!

He’s worth whatever it would cost.

If a recently signed a NLOI for 26 and this happens in Ann Arbor is a student athlete allowed to back out of their signature.

As my wife always says, our family definitely bleeds orange. (Our hearts belong to the Illini; but most of our $$$$ is at Clemson.)
