If Olano goes to Ohio State I may cry.

22 catches 265 yds 5 TD this season. He was 4th in receptions. Beatty is graduating. Clements will be a SR. Dixon will be a JR.

Same production as prior 2 years at Eastern Illinois and 1 year Ball State. Why does he get 5th year. Does not look like he took a redshirt year. He did not play JC or NAIA

I would not mind if he came back. He was good player and did well in P5.

We can do better ...

6 out of the top 9 departing. On the surface, I don't feel quite as good as you about our 2026 pass catching. I do agree, however, we should have some thus far untested talent coming coming out of the bullpen.

if Rankin can learn the playbook and get his routes down, he'll be playing. just a matter of how much

Aidan only had 9 receptions for 54 yards. I would love to see them use him like Christian McCaffery 96 receptions 890 yrds 9 TD (16 regular season games).
Maybe he could take over Beatty role.
Absolutely agree. Is he a potential tight end in the future?

2025 Illinois pass catching leaders (by yards)

Beatty - 864 yards (graduating)
Dixon - 548 yards
Clement - 454 yards

Bowick - 265 yards (transferring)
Rusk - 217 yards (transferring)

Feagin - 188 yards
Arkin - 114 yards (graduating)
Hollins - 108 yards (transferring)
Elzy - 84 yards (transferring)

Valentine - 55 yards

Assuming you add a good role player in the portal (Diaz would be a great add) and assuming Trimble takes that step forward, I still feel good about the WR room.
Feagin’s a very good pass catcher. All the talk about him as a RB… he could potentially be a 200-250yd receiver (just for comparison, Cole Rush this year had 217 receiving yards).

Chase Brown had 240 receiving yards. I could see something close to that for Feagin if we really tap into it.

Why don’t you think they had him flare out more on RB screens to at least spread the defense and ideally get him out in the open on an easy pass and catch?
