I'd prefer hiring Pittman and bringing over some of his dudes...not happening as of today so I watched some Christian Martin film and I can see what our staff likes about him.
He's got pretty quick feet, good size @6'6 300+, and doesn't get beat on quick edge rushers (JC Davis' Achilles Heel).
I think he started a year or two earlier than he was physically ready for. He does have 2 years of eligiblity and some speed/agility that we have not possessed on our line.
Again, our lines have been BIG but not quick...Cig and even Duke exposed that flaw. Seems like our staff is bringing in a different archetype than we've had previously and hoping they can add weight/strength.

My 2 cents as things currently stand… this could blow up in 10 minutes…
Juice will return as a starter.
Tomiwa and Angelo likely return as starters unless we snag huge upgrades.
I doubt Heckel nor Resetich starts next year, if we have the offseason I’m expecting.
Matthew Bailey could be back….hopefully. X could come back but feels like chances are slim to none between NFL and portal.

Heckle or Resetich starting would be a disappointment, IMO. They were backups this year, but were thrust into action due to injuries.
And then on offense Henderson and Valentine (hopefully) and then two WR return in the WR rotation?
X seems similar to Coleman Hawkins. He came back this year for a run at glory when he likely had other options and it just didn’t work out. Teams appears on a different trajectory for next year so wouldn’t blame him if he moved on for a bag or CFP opportunity.
Question on X, if he doesn’t go NFL isn’t he someone we’d go all in on so he doesn’t transfer?
