Retention is good but you don’t want to be bidding against yourself. In the past we would’ve keep a guy like Hood.

So it feels like we are counting on a lot of development to replace all the 2 deeps guys we lost.

I’d agree somewhere in that range. Hopefully some better players than we are on right now. This is sorta depressing after back to back 9 wins seasons.

I wonder if any of those players will start for us next year. Clarke is most likely, but wouldn't be surprised if we have a completely new starting 11 next season.

Clarke will absolutely start (unless he leaves or gets hurt). Outside of that, if Bailey returns he’ll start.

I also have a hard time thinking McCullum won’t start at nose.
