Silly question: some of these recruitment commitments happen insanely quick…how are we checking their grades for academic standards that fast? Like, is that not the problem it used to be now that we’re openly paying them?

ah..... 247 got it... I was looking at On3... thanks... No matter the list, I think Dylan Raiola is WAY too high...

Another example of why you need the right kicker in the Ravens game.
One kicker was not going to sleep at night regardless — honestly a sad situation looking from a neutral perspective.
The second best kicker in the NFL also missed the Steelers point after attempt 5 minutes earlier.
Absolutely. But it just further demonstrates how incredibly critical the position is.

I like the pickup of Houser. High floor, high ceiling player. That'll work and I'd like to pick up his TE as well.

One I'm really intrigued with is Simpson from Miami. If Illinois can get him and pair him with McColloum, that is serious disruptive ability from the interior of the line. Still like to see where they go with EDGE, etc. (Have to check Jones and others out).

Very good start, now let's see them continue to build.

No, but there is a number at which it wouldn’t make since, we would all agree.

We can be excited to have him, but it’s fair to wonder at what cost.
Is it really though? If it is $2M or $3M or $5M, it is the job of BB and staff to know the market and what we need. Knowing that this kid cost north of $2M, how good would you feel about us going for someone who was at $1M? QB is not where I want the staff skimping.

For those who are more in the know, given the landscape and other QBs that were out in the portal, is this a very good, pretty good, neutral outcome for our QB1 next year?
Yeah I’m a bit curious too how he stacks up against say LA. Where does he sit between 0 and 1 Lukes? 0.68, 0.79x etc.?
