Mccullom has produced more than the Marshall or UNT nose guards we’ve brought in.

Exactly… we can keep saying “well that’s an overpay” or “he’s not worth that”. But at the end of the day if someone pays you that… then ya you are worth it.

Jed hoyer loves to make these arguments. Aka finding the “perfect value”. At the end of the day you gotta overpay sometimes to show people you are serious.

The published statements by a few of the faculty members that nixed the award were mind-boggling. Political and anti capitalistic.

In the past we over valued players. They see them every day in practice so they have a good idea what the talent is. Also a lot of these nil offers mean nothing and the players get a fraction of what they were promised. I’ve heard a lot of light envelopes Miami.
