Welp, the draft deadline has passed.....
It sounds like X didn't enter the draft given we would have heard an announcement - I would have to think if he's coming back we would have the odds stacked in our favor vs. him transferring
His main goal is to improve his stock in the NFL, kids coming back to get drafted higher rarely switch schools for their last year given playing for new coaches in a new scheme with new players around you is always a gamble. So even if one of the money bag schools are trying to poach him which I'm sure there are some that are, I would have to think we would be competitive enough money wise he wouldn't want to take that risk, given his main goal is to have the best year possible on the field

Are you saying he is staying in the draft?
I realize he's a senior so doesn't have to apply for early entry by the 14th deadline, but I'm sure there is some date where he has to pull out of the draft if he did get a medical redshirt and is coming back to school

I might be new to this board but isn't this directly against the rules I just read? Trying to understand before I get in trouble with admin. I looked back at the whole exchange with Bigcity and the mob that came after him and am curious? Are people upset that he was saying something unpopular? Just want to know what the rules of engagement are around here. bigcityillinib was a little brash no doubt and had some hot takes. But his data/analysis was unreal and was professional level. Nobody actually could refute any of his data and then it turned into a mud flinging contest. Maybe I'm missing something as the new guy, but why wouldn't people want someone that has that skill to provide it? Maybe I'm the weird one but I enjoy reading all perspectives and forming my own opinion. If it's not like that on this board, please let me know so i don't post and upset the mean girls around here.
