Serious question: has there been some form of censorship on here I missed? Has anyone actially been impeded in posting a critique or even an out and attack on the staff or team? I see plenty of criticism, yet there seems to be this view that criticism is not allowed.

The portal is a mythical entity that both exists and doesn’t exist.
Give any average quarterback all the time in the world by consistently only rushing three is more than likely going to result in a completed pass. Even top defensive backs can't keep recievers covered up if they have to do it for 10 seconds. Unless the three you have rushing are getting good pressure on the qb it's not gonna end well. I watched several other teams making the same mistake. Rushing 3 or less should only be used sparingly just to change things up or in total prevent when it is the situation calls for it.
Maybe the one where we take the starters out in the 4th qtr so they don't get hurt...
I believe the defense issues were a combination of lack of speed/athleticism and the scheme we were forced to use because of those deficiencies. Jacas was completely misused. Henry rarely moved him around/away from the double team. I believe we are fixing the issues in the portal. We will be a far better defense next season. I think we will do more man or at the very least, play a tighter zone with more blitzing.
That’s what people freaking out about the portal closing last week is silly. Players will transfer in the spring and summer like any other year. The ncaa can’t stop them from unenrolling and enrolling in a new school.
We were playing for style points all year. That’s why the 2nd string didn’t get any snaps

it only effects spring practice , which is really 85% about QB, backs , receivers & DB’s .

I guess the value of the portal is that when you enter your name, people know that you're looking to move and are available. Likely, there would be less poaching of players currently rostered.
