These are the types of kids that Iowa, Wisconsin etc have been getting and killing us with for 30 years. And now we get him. I love it.

Exactly, worst case scenario he is a special teams demon for us which has a ton of value. He’s a tough !!! kid that will work hard every day. Considine, Tommy Thies and Logan Abrams were the under the radar instate kids I liked for 2026.

OMG! My husband just read this to me, and we were both like WOW! We’ve watched this stud player from our area where he’s been the star for four years get better and better. He’s truly a hard worker with excellent genes. Him coming to Illinois instead of Iowa is SO shocking! The Considine family is royalty in Byron. We thought it was a given that he’d end up a Hawkeye like his dad…

I hope he does well in the orange and blue. I hear he has 3 younger brothers. Bret loves siblings.

I live like 7 miles from Byron maybe less.i dont mean no disrespect as I know Byron,Stillman valley and Freeport have produced talent is this more a walk on type talent or someone we expect down the road?I live close but never made it out to a game.im not trying to knock the kid hes definitely got the last name for the area that has produced but is this more depth or potential starter down the road anybody that knows id love any feedback possible
