Weird question, but does basketball's Final Four spotlight have any impact on football recruits?

For sure. Illinois is an "it" school right now. Having basketball back in the Final Four and football coming off two 9+ win seasons + wins over top SEC teams gives them a lot of buzz.

Also offers the best (As in #1) chance for any of those potentially generational 2 way players who want to play bball and football. Mind you a good many of the elite football players are also good/top/elite bball players as well. Rankin is one that comes to mind and he should be dynamic. It can be nothing but good especially if they are getting onto campus right now with the FF buzz.

Think that there's any chance Tony B. suits up for the bbl team? Had a great season for Palatine this year.
