It wasn't "Great news!"?

I think we will. I hope we look at a couple instate qb’s for the 2027 class. Sladen Shack has struggled this year

I hate to say it but Shack is not good. No inside information here but I'll be surprised if he enrolls here in 2027. His season stats are really bad.

Nebraska gets a taste of its own medicine as Illinois wins latest QB recruiting battle

Nebraska football lost a rising 2028 quarterback target to a familiar Big Ten recruiting rival.

Got the next WR target for Stepp. Caden Monk out of Stephenville, TX. Hope they offer soon. Bro-in-law was at the game vs Wylie last night and texted me “Got the next Texas WR for the Illini in this game tonight, Caden Monk. Beyond smooth.”

My interest is growing in the Batavia QB committed to Wyoming

He’s got offers already from Baylor and Texas A&M. Get to offering Illini!

I also like the Geneva qb but the kid from Batavia is a better fit for this offense.

No doubt he's a talented QB, but he made a number of mistakes against Rochester. If I recall correctly, he had 3 losses of about 12 - 15 yds each, and a pick 6.

You can’t just base it off of 1 game. This kid has been very good for 3 years.

Also our current commit has like 3 td and 5 int on the year. I think that is much more concerning
