Which is fine, but like FOTN I agree that if we're going to go orange helmet, we shouldn't do all white beneath it and should have orange or blue pants.

While I’m not positive, enlarging the photos on my phone seems to show our traditional stripes.

OK, thanks. I didn’t see that post. I’d still like to see the three-stripe with the arched Illini. The five stripe is a little busy for me and doesn’t match the style on the jersey and pants.

I get that and I respect it but let me try to persuade you since it’s my favorite striping:

1. Many classic uniforms, college and NFL, don’t use consistent striping. It’s not a hard and fast rule.

2. I cannot think of any other uniform that uses the pattern.

3. It highlights orange - the identity of our program - without skipping out on striping or making the helmet some other color

4. It’s busy if you think of it as 5 stripes, but if you just think of it as a symmetrical copy of a 2-stripe blue/white on either side of negative space, it’s much less busy.

I thought so too regarding the white pants hanging near socks.
Maybe UW is wearing much purple and blue pants wouldn't work this week? Idk...

Also, just saying here … for all the folks that act like anyone but Nike is just uniform suicide, Washington’s Adidas uniforms are fantastic. Simple, traditional and not boring.

It’s so annoying to me that I actually LOVE these white pants with the striping pattern, as I think it looks really sharp … and we only wear them with the one combo I don’t think works. I think they’d look so much better with the orange or even navy jerseys (aka the standard Zook Era home look).
