This guy? Sorta looks like the guy in the Twitter page.

Don't think so. Based on his twitter he's a mizzou fan, and doesn't look old enough to buy beer. I wouldn't put much stock in what he says. But then again, Badocchi re-tweeted it, so who knows...

I think he's a Franchesco classmate. Talks about 'Miege' in a tweet, which is FB's school.

I feel like trying to interpret Twitter activity as a true indicator of a prospect's leanings is one of the worst message board memes out there... yet I fall for it every time. I'll take a Badocchi commit anytime.

This has been known for a few days now. Definite Illini lean. Underwoods offense is far more appealing than Bennett's.

Lock this dude down. If you've got a bunch of scholarships to give out, and we do, spare one for a freakishly bouncy athlete that happens along. :thumb:

Yep. I'm all about it. Regardless of whatever he may need to develop skill wise, he has everything you cannot teach. And lots of it.

This is an easy recruiting sell IMO.

"Hey Frankie, we have two (maybe 3) post players on our current roster. Finke likes to sit on the 3 point line so hes not really a post player and Leron would foul out in the first half if I let him play long enough. We have two elite play making PGs in this class along with some solid three point shooting to space out the floor for you. I envision you having an opportunity to play a lion-share of minutes with most being above the rim catching lobs from aforementioned PGs. Oh by the way, here is a quick clip of my high flying offense last year versus Bennett's offense that struggles to break 50 pts a game. If you are interested we would love to have you be part of turning this program around and having a lot of fun as well."

We had Robert Rosenthal of Illiniboard.com on one of our talk shows this morning. I thought one of the most interesting things he mentioned about Tilmon is that while he was heavily talked about during the majority of the basketball season and up until about three weeks ago with the Kansas chatter, there just hasn’t been nothing about him recently. It’s like he vanished into thin air.

Here's the link to the interview, which is the first one you'll see once you scroll down. Some good stuff here:

During the coaching search, back when we thought we were in the running for Bennett, I recall posters debating whether recruits would enjoy playing for Bennett or if they would prefer playing for someone more uptempo (like Underwood).

I guess we're about to find out. :)
