This statement is so close to fact that it made me sad. Now I wait for the depression targeted ads.

Ha, but we're not anything like a mid-major. Not like a non-Gonzaga or Wichita State type mid-major anyway.

We could go steal anyone we wanted from the MVC tomorrow. Maybe we should!

Good grief. Woe is me. Poor Illinois fans. We are so far from a "mid major" it's beyond reasonable discussion. The #11 all time NCAA program is a mid major. Right. We have not been good for a long time. That does not equal mid major.

If you need to wallow in pity for how rough it's been that's cool. Do your thing. I'll go back to Painting with Bob Ross. An orange and blue mountain lives wherever I want.

Yeah man I'm just gonna check out from this board. These guys are pathetic. I hope the team kicks !!! and these jackasses can't say a word. They act as you can only be successful with top 100 talent at every position yet they say we are worse than teams that don't have a single 4 star player on their team. Yet the coach we have developed completely under the radar kids to whoop !!! at SFA and play exciting ball. Well sorry our coach isnt an !!! kisser and he doesnt live up to your expectations of 18 months but he has my full support. I dont want to hear, im the biggest ILLINI supporter here, blah, blah, blah, blah blah garbage when they start winning or even before they do. I'm calling you fake fans out now. Go root for Collins on the NW board.

Bontemps wasn't on the '78-'79 team. He was as freshman on the '79-'80 team. You had Judson, who was a shooting guard and Perry Range, freshman combo guard, and I am thinking Larry Lubin was the backup PG.
Who's pocket got picked twice at half court bringing the ball up and I believe causing the tie sending the game to the EJ play that forced the overtime? I was there, I'm old now and I could have sworn the KB DID the patented behind the back turnover...twice! (There, I typed twice, twice)

2019 four-star Quincy Guerrier has booked his second official visit, Syracuse will host him official, September 21st, he tells Stockrisers.

Really hoping we get an OV. Guerrier would be an excellent add. It helps that we have a ride waiting. Nevertheless, very stiff competition.

I mean, I hope not. Still think he'd be an asset next year. And might help bring attention. But it doesn't look good de-committing so quickly. I can't imagine how DePaul fans feel right now. Oh, wait..

First time poster, but I’ve been reading for 10+ years.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Illinois is back in the mix. I can only imagine how some of the conversations between Underwood, Irvin and Coleman have gone the past week.

According to this article, it seems that Oscar Tshiebwe's two main concerns are immediate playing time and the roster of the team. I take the latter to mean who will feed him the ball. Well, we certainly would be able to provide immediate playing time, depending on whom else we recruit.

(BTW, Illinois is one of his eight final teams)

Tshiebwe would be an enormous get. Sadly, not feeling it.

I'm a newbie as well. Definitely feel he would be a solid get for us and I would hope we'd still be in contention for him.
