from all indications the staff has cooled on Pinzon. No mention of him really since We landed Goode back in the Spring.

DePaul just named a new AD, DeWayne Peevey, and he spent 12 years at Kentucky as their deputy AD and worked closely with Calipari.. Look for him to make a huge splash. Long term he will want to hire his own BB coach. That's when things could get real interesting.

There may be some more to this. Just remember that DePaul and SLU have some very similar recruiting tactics. Hope Illinois doesn't get some shocking bad news on his commitment day. Reading in other places too that DePaul buzz is picking up.

not to mention..Iona was added to the list too. Petino is HC there. Another program who may have something in common with SLU and DePaul.

2021 four-star David Jones will announce his college decision on Monday at 6:00 PM ET, he tells me.

Considering: Illinois, Louisville, Oregon, Maryland, Pitt, Houston, Clemson, & DePaul.

No, I’m saying that the chances of Jones committing to us on Monday is trending downwards from slim... to none

Not saying it’s completely out of the realm of possibilities but it’s not looking good at this point in time.

When you have a team that just entered the conversation a week ago and is now the perceived leader you start to wonder what other kinds of twists and turns this recruitment could take.

That’s why I said, if he does *ever* commit to us, it won’t be this Monday
