24+ hours without a post in the recruiting thread?

2021 6'2 (SG) Kris Robinson
2023 6'2 (CG) Robert Dillingham

Both from Combine Prep - Coach Jeff McGinnis (UNC). Check them out Combine is an up and coming prep school, which beat Oak Hill-3 weeks ago. Robinson was 8-12 from 3pt and very very smooth. Dilligham is 14 and playing major minutes as well.

Might as well try to get in before they completely blow up....lol, another prep academy to try to recruit from wouldn't hurt either.

let's not get fat and happy. common let's drum up some rumor, innuendo and bad blood between our illini and the
recruiting enemies out there. that's what keeps me coming back! maybe a Instagram post somebody didn't like?
an unofficial visit by a promising 8th grader? anything...……

how about the investigations of blue bloods? boy that sure dried up, didn't it! Kansas will NEVER
GO ON PROBATION NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO IN RECRUITING. Apparently Arizona either. or
any of those other ADIDAS schools? anybody...…..

investigations of blue bloods

The old scapegoat conversation when ILLINI are not doing well...We all know nothing will happen, especially with some of the state ruling issues. Water is under the bridge and it is drying up fast. Blue Bloods will continue to be the rich getting richer.

5⭐ Star '22 SF Tre White has decommitted from Kansas, plays for Mac Irvin. Do we make him a priority?

Correcting since it was pointed out he's class of 22 and not 20...

He's not on our scholarship grid offer list but Illinois is showing up as an interest on 247. Does anyone know what sort of leg work we have with this kid?

Our current 2022-23 roster has guards Curbelo (jr), wings BBV (sr), and Hawkins (jr), and bigs Hamlin (sr), (Kofi and Adam Miller wont be here by then). We lose wing players Alan Griffin, Tevian Jones, Austin Hutcherson, Jacob Grandison.

So a ready to play 2022 wing is definitely something that should be high on our priority list for that recruiting class.

Just day-dreaming but a 2020-21 roster including guards Adam Miller (fr), Trent Frazier (sr), Andre Curbelo (fr), wings Alan Griffin (jr), Tevian Jones (jr), Tre White (fr), bigs Kofi Cockburn (so), Giorgi Bezanishvili (jr), Ben Bosmans-Verdonk (so) would be pretty amazing. Hawkins, Grandison, and Hutcherson adding even more depth (or competing for bigger minutes) is the cherry on top in that situation.

I would think that if Kofi didn't go pro after this year, it could be worth politely kicking Hamlin to the curb to make room for Tre White if he was interested in playing with us. Especially if Tre was going to give us 2+ years of playing time. Depending on how Tevian performs (off the court primarily since I have faith in his ability to develop on the court) it could be worth entertaining discussions with Tre White anyway.

Definitely a day-dream because Tre White is a '22 and won't be a freshman until two seasons after 2020-2021

He's been on the grid for a long time. It currently shows him committed to Kansas. I'll make the change.

tre White is out of control smooth. If he came to the Illini he would be the biggest thing since Adam Miller

AJ Casy: Went to see him play and (I need to keep reminding myself that he's only a second year player) came away impressed. For 6-9 he may be TP's best 3-point shooter. He plays like a 6-9 starter on our team....one who hasn't found out his area is within 10-12 feet of the basket. The other 4 starters on TP: Two are from that movie "Dumb and Dumber" and the other 2 are from the movie "Stepbrothers!" Awful team....with one great player. Good handles...great stroke. Check Tinley Park out over the Xmas Holidays.

Anyone know if Charles Bediako's Duke offer takes us completely out of the running? Otherwise it seems we'd be a serious contender if Kofi leaves.

As for Trent and Damonte's spots for 2021, I like Brandon Weston and Louis Lesmond.

Don’t know how many of you are in the stl area but Morgan park is playing collinsville tonight at Edwardsville high school.
Good chance to get a look at Adam Miller
