respect my decision™
I don't get the screaming and flexing after an uncontested dunk
lol, yeah, he's a diva. Don't think that's gonna fly for long if he choses us. I'll gladly take him in a heartbeat though.

In 98 and 08 they were 2nd to last.

It could also could be a product of a lot of other teams are going to get better...

How much better (in aggregate) can this league get than it is right now? It boggles the mind.

gee...I hope not. I don't think that style of play is sustainable come tournament time when you play two games in three days and four in eight.
They won’t go back to that. Might use it a little, but BU came to realization wouldn’t work. Heck having someone on back line like Kofi was thought to be the missing piece since we were giving up way too many layups, and they changed it.

While I agree that they may be worn out from that, it also is more difficult for the other teams to prepare for. I think the bigger factor is that it doesn't seem to work well in the Big Ten.

As long as he doesn’t yell anything offensive, like “cash”.

I just want some consistency from the guy. Is he willing to yell and flex after every made FT? If so, then I am fully on board with it.
Pretty sure he missed both of his FTs in the video. They cut away before the first one got there. So there’s that. I agree with you, though, flexing after a (made) FT would be awesome!

A PG with eyes on his elbows and knees, a 6'9" former competitive dancer who climbs trees for fun, and a guy who yells and flexes every time he makes a shot.

Maybe BU needed to be more specific when he told his staff they should focus on recruiting "freaks." Or maybe, just maybe, he's a genius.

Well this is bizarre, but I did read Cardet has a 6'11" wingspan. That's freakishly long for a 6'5" guy.

Once Kofi goes.. we will see the full court pressure come back, at least for a good portion of the game
Honestly, for all of his faults trying to navigate through traffic in the half court, Curbelo is probably as good of a guard as you can have against teams trying to rely on full court presses.

Saw some buzz awhile back about Illinois being interested in Loyola's Cameron Krutwig for a one year fill in big guy. Any meat to this?

Funniest comment I've ever read here for some reason 🤣

No we won't. Illinois got murdered when it tried to play that way. It's been recurring theme for the past two years how me moved away from that full court pressure because it doesn't work in the Big Ten.

See that latest ESPN article praising Underwood's willingness to adapt and change as just the latest thematic example.

I'm sure there would be a lot of interest form a LOT of schools if Cameron were to make any indication that his plan was to play a 5th year AND transfer. Right now he is trying to earn a NCAA bid for Loyola.
Whatever "meat" may or may not be to it is 95% wild speculation. For some, that's enough to make the idea persist.
