We're going to be in it for Goode, doubt we get him he likes Xavier and Louisville more.

No shot at Bediako, or Christie. Both likely headed to Duke. Bediako could re-class.

Might get a visit from Etienne but we won't likely get him either as lots of offers are starting to come in.

Wrote all this a little while ago about a few guys the staff was after, but I'll post it again anyway:

1. Michael Foster: Plays for Mac Irvin Fire (EYBL). From Milwaukee, WI and plays HS ball at Hillcrest Prep. (https://247sports.com/Player/Michael-Foster-46048914/)

4. Isaiah Barnes: Plays for Illinois Wolves (UAA). From Oak Park, IL and plays HS ball at River Forest. (https://247sports.com/Player/Isaiah-Barnes-46085899/)

5. Nate Santos: Plays HS for Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut. (https://247sports.com/Player/Nate-Santos-46057850/)

Holds other offers from TCU, Creighton, Drake, UW-Milwaukee. He actually just reclassified back in June to this class from the class of 2020.

6. Will McClendon: Plays for Dream Vision (Adidas). From Las Vegas. Plays HS for Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas. (https://247sports.com/Player/Will-McClendon-46049202/)

Plays for same AAU as Coleman Hawkins did. Has family from CU area.

Are we not involved with A.J. Casey anymore?

If Ayo goes pro and someone transfers we will still have a scholarship available in the spring. One transfer would be likely imo and Ayo looking more like a draft choice as the season progresses.

Bynum is committed to Depaul, I missed this. Meises would be an awesome get though imo.
Bynum was impressive at the Highland shootout this weekend. Would be nice to get back in on that kid

Collinsville just beat Desmet, is undefeated and #1 in the StL area. Is there anyone on that team we are recruiting??

It would be interesting to know what BU ios thinking and is looking for for next year and the one following. I feel that it is likely that Ayo is going pro and that at least one and possibly two transfer (tev, Hamlin). That would not shock me at all. I wonder how the transfers and a health Verdonk that we have now will fit into the line up and if we are still taking Benard K. I hope we can land a little more of a physical 4/5 tat can shoot effective.y outside of the paint to go with thos ewe have coming in. I wish we knew what BU thinks about who will be here next year and who won, were the transfers abilities fit in and how that can effect our recruiting.

Hard to say, really. Would he have made the exact same choices given a totally different set of life circumstances? There's no way to know or claim that.
Of course there is no way to say for certain on any hypothetical. But kids inclined to make bad decisions find their own people no matter where they are. He has a history.

Related to Roger McClendon, 80s Centennial HS/Cincinnati great?

I was at Centennial when McClendon was there. I remember seeing him decked out once in the cafeteria with Michigan swag. I was surprised he went to Cincy. Also remember getting my heart broken by Kenny Battle and Aurora West in the Elite 8 at Assembly Hall. If I remember, McClendon didn't play well that game, but U of I Asst. Coach Dick Nagy's son, Scott, was the best player for Centennial. It was a long time ago, so my memory might not be the greatest.

Well hello fellow Charger 👋. I attended/played football with Rayvonte Rice. Did Lou try to recruit Roger at all?

Miller went to Manual, so he understands ball/you/man defense and Curbelo is really quick with quick hands, their D may be better than you expect.
I expect very good, just not as good as we have.

Hasnt he got in trouble at all 3 schools he played at? and this was the second incident at UNM.

SUre, it is possible that it could have been different at UI, but it seems he finds ways to get in trouble no matter where he goes so id probably bet on it being a good miss
