I’m thinking 5 players including Ayo as well. For me, I’d love Ayo, Ramey, Brangers/Jones/Taylor, Trice, and a 5th year big.

JUCO who averages 20ppg and 46% from 3. Was a JUCO All-American last year and holds the school record for 3 pointers made in a season (151) and in a game (10). From Louisville. He definitely jumps to the top of my list in terms of recruits.

Brangers...talk about spreading the floor. It's insane that he shoots 46% from 3, considering where he is shooting them from. Shooting like that translate to any level.

Wow! He's a Plan A kid, for sure.

Wondered why people wanted a 6'2" guard until I looked at the shooting stats. Not sure about defense but 23 yrs old and definitely can play offense.

Holy cow those are some long threes. I might have a problem with him taking some of those shots in our games. I guess if he's going to shoot at a 46% clip you let him go.

Jordan Brangers, high risk high reward type of guy. Has committed and de-committed/left 3 programs in last year. (TTU, WKU, CSU). He was enrolled at WKU last summer, everything was going fine a lot of people liked him because of his work ethic and attitude. Then all of a sudden one day right as school was about to start it was announced "he didnt meet the transfer-academic standards" or something along those lines. And left the program, went back to JUCO.

I agree he can shoot it, and would be a huge asset. However theres some red flags around him, I hope it all works out.

No thanks, that is the closest I have seen anyone play like Starks since Starks. Pulling up from half court on the reg is not what I am rooting for here.

Does it matter as long as he shoots a high percentage? Or do we prefer nice guys like AJ who who only take "good shots" yet need to be wide open to get it off? #getoffmylawn

Iowa State's haul in Chicago this year was pretty fortuitous. They landed a legacy kid (Conditt's dad played football at ISU), a late bloomer that we apparently didn't prioritize, and... well... THT. Don't get me wrong, they found themselves in a great spot and capitalized, but I don't expect top Chicago kids to start steaming over to Ames.

Also, while I think each of those three can be very good college players, only one of those guys is a sure-thing IMO. That being said, if I had to trade classes with them right now—I would do it in a heartbeat.

Seems like we've been burned by higher percentage shooters from lower level leagues before....

His twitter highlights have an awful lot of him peeking at the ball while doing his drills, etc. Color me not convinced yet...

The last program I'm worried about future recruiting against is Iowa St. That article was written by their local paper so of course it's going to be slanted. What it also fails to mention is that all three of their recruits have limitations and Ayo can magnify all four of their "ways to build a pipeline" in Champaign with a big freshman campaign.

I wouldn't trade Ayo for their class. But I do find it inexplicable that Zion Griffin was let slip through the cracks.

I love Ayo and am really glad we have him, but man that class would fill some holes for us. THT is an absolute stud, Griffin is the type of athletic wing we could use, and Conditt has a really high ceiling (although we'd still be in the 5th year big market if he was on board).

...anywho, back to reality.

I wouldn't make that trade. Sounds a lot like many classes Weber signed....pass.

Im with you. I think it crazy if one wouldn't want a straight up trade of classes. We will all see how our connections with Mac fire coach help in future. In my opinion mac Irvin fire and coach losing their stranglehold on Chicago's top players. Players can get recognized anywhere by just being good.

One other aspect, we will have a future NBA player in Ayo, something that we really need through the program which younger Chicago kids (and Fire players) will know and remember... we're getting that in Ayo.

Weber didn’t sign many players on the level of THT. Leonard, maybe. THT is the guy who won’t play here that really irritates me. He was a game changer. I hate so much that he’s not going to suit up for Illinois. He’s going to be a great college player.
