At this point you have gone all in so you pay Walker what it takes, keep Tilmon and give Underwood the tools to succeed very early here

Can't wait to watch Frazier and the other players in Orange & Blue next season! I definitely think Frazier will thrive in Underwood's style

What do we know about the Oklahoma State player who led them in scoring and rebounding? I know he is eligible to be a graduate transfer, but that is about all that I know.

I posted this originally, but need to correct, he was 2nd leading scorer after Jawun and was the leading rebounder, however an impressive 5th year that could be available.
Evans 19.2 ppg
Carroll 17.5 ppg

Signed NLI with Illinois
Javon Pickett (2017 G, committed January 16, 2016)
Da'Monte Williams (2017 G, committed February 28, 2016)
Jeremiah Tilmon (2017 C, committed July 11, 2016)
Trent Frazier (2017 PG, committed August 21, 2016)

Question for the X&O's guys:
What is Underwood's offense & defense in a nutshell and how does it work with a guard heavy lineup plus a big?

Like someone just said, we're going to be guard rich for the near future, and we also have some nice tweener big rollplayers plus big T.

Watched some youtube video and it seemed to my untrained eye that his team's spacing, movement, passing, and to a lesser extent defense were giving the other teams fits. Smith would thrive on a team like this would he not?

Check the Underwood thread. There is a detailed breakdown on how current players and recruits would fit the system.

Is there a point when signed recruits can no longer ask out of their NLOI? Like after a certain point do they have to make up their minds?

Someone to keep an eye for a few years... DJ Steward from Fenwick had a nice tournament in Peoria this weekend. Needs to work on ball handling but, can definitely score. He's a freshman.

Disappointed not to get to see more Ayo Dosunmu this weekend...

Back home after spending all day drinking.

Great day for the Illini. I agree completely pay him and give him whatever it takes

Also something to keep your eye on is Steve Alford. If Alford leaves for IU, Kris Wilkes from what I have heard will not follow him to IU. He could very well stay in UCLA with new coach, but we were the other team in his final 3. I think that could be an interesting situation if Alford leaves.

Doubtful, I wonder if Wilkes ever got his car started on 465??
