If Williams doesn't want to redshirt and think he can get major minutes here or somewhere else, it's hard to blame him for that opportunity. Taking practically a year off from competitive games is tough, but two straight years is a completely different animal. Ask Tracy. I fully support Damonte if that's his decision and hope that his playing time is here.

Reading into it to much if Underwood goes to see Tilmon without Walker? I feel like if Walker was staying on staff he would go with to help with the intro and reassurance.

I'm pretty sure it was said that Underwood would not speak to Walker until the Illini were finished with the post season. Hopefully hear something soon?

Everything Brad Underwood said about UI he said about OSU not even a year before... He lied to the face of his players and then a few hours later stabbed them all in the back... Maybe this is the quality of human being people of UI prefer? IDK Calls a meeting, four sentences and a big FU to the people who loved & supported him... Illinois is his dream job. OSU wasn't. Simple to leave when he was underpaid at OSU. His kids' first jerseys were Illinois jerseys.

I'd like to think Tilmon and Smith are smart enough to not play at SLU, especially if they want to play at the next level.I don't think either have ever mentioned SLU have they? I wouldnt worry too much about them.
